- 400gr all purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 460gr brown sugar
- 250gr butter, melted
- 2 tsp vanilla essence
- 5 eggs
- 60gr cocoa powder
- 6 Tbsp water
- 120 milk
Preheat oven to 180C.
In a bowl, add cocoa powder, 100gr sugar and water and mix well with a spoon. Set aside.
In a large bowl, beat the rest of the sugar, melted butter and vanilla.
Add eggs one at a time and continue to beat.
Add flour, baking powder, salt, milk and beat well.
Add 2 cups of the batter to the cocoa mixture and whisk until blended.
Butter and flour a bundt cake form.
Pour 2 Tbsp of the vanilla mixture into the form and on top of it pour 1 Tbsp of the chocolate mixture. Continue with the same procedure until the bundt form is filled.
Bake for 50 minutes at 180C. Insert a knife in the cake and if it doesn't come out clean, bake for 10 more minutes and check again.
Cool cake in the form for 5 minutes and invert it in a plate.
