Chocolate Salami



ingredients
  • 350gr dark chocolate
  • 100gr butter
  • 250gr sugar biscuits
  • 1 Tbs rum
  • 200gr hazelnuts
  • powdered sugar

instructions

Preheat oven to 200C.
Roast hazelnuts for 5 minutes and chop them in the food processor.
Melt butter and chocolate in a heatproof bowl over boiling water.

Mix and remove the bowl from the heat.
Chop biscuits in small pieces with your hands and add them to the chocolate-butter mixture. Add rum and hazelnuts.
Mix well with your hands, wearing disposable gloves, and let it cool for a while. Put the bowl in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes to harden.



Cut a piece of parchment paper and place the mixture on it.
Form chocolate mixture into a log and wrap it with the parchment paper.
Put the chocolate salami in the freezer for a few hours.
When ready to serve, take it out of the freezer for 2-3 minutes to soften.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar, cut slices and serve.
