- 2-3 onions
- 200gr potato chips
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 cup flour
Preheat the oven to 220C.
Line a pan with baking sheet.
Cut the onions into rounds and separate into rings.
Place the potato chips in a food processor and process into fine crumbs. Put them in a bowl with the smoked paprika.
In another bowl, combine the buttermilk, 2 Tbs. of the flour, the salt, and pepper and set aside.
Place the remaining flour in a plastic bag, then add the onions, close it and shake to coat.
Dip the onion rings into the buttermilk mixture.
Then dip into the potato chip crumbs. Turn them over to coat both sides.
Place the onion rings on the baking sheet and bake until golden and crispy about 20 minutes.
