Cookies with chocolate and walnuts

  • 100gr butter, room temperature
  • 100gr brown sugar
  • 1tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 125gr all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 100gr chocolate, chopped
  • 100gr walnuts, chopped

In a large bowl, beat the butter, the sugar and the vanilla.
Add the egg and beat well.
Add  flour and  baking powder and mix well.
Stir in chocolate and walnuts.
Transfer dough to a bowl and refrigerate for a few hours or overnight.

Preheat oven to 180C.
Cover pan with baking paper and using  a tablespoon drop cookies 2cm apart.
Bake for 10 minutes!
Cool in the pan for 5 minutes and transfer the cookies to a rack to cool.

I made the dough the previous night, left it in the refrigerator and baked the cookies  the next morning for breakfast!
