- 250gr butter
- 200gr dark chocolate 65% cacao, chopped
- 50gr dark chocolate 70% cacao, chopped
- 300gr brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 180gr all purpose flour
- 40gr cocoa powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 baking powder
- 50gr dark chocolate 70% cacao, chopped
- 50gr hazelnuts, chopped
- 40gr cacao nibs
- 1 small dry chilly pepper, chopped
- 1/2 tsp salt
instructions
Preheat oven to 170C.
Melt butter and chocolates in a saucepan. Remove from heat, add sugar and mix. Add eggs one at a time and mix. Add flour, cocoa, cinnamon and baking powder and stir to combine.
In a small bowl mix chocolate, hazelnuts, cacao nibs, dry chilly pepper and salt.
Line a 25x25cm pan with parchment paper.
Spread half brownie mixture then sprinkle half hazelnut mixture. Spread remaining brownie mixture and top with remaining hazelnut mixture.
Bake for 45-50 minutes.
Set aside to cool and cut in 16 pieces.
