Greek easter cookies

  • 250gr margarine
  • 160gr honey
  • 50gr sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 30ml congac
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 500gr all purpose flour
In a large bowl, combine margarine, honey and sugar.
Add egg yolk and mix well.
Dissolve baking soda into congac and pour it in the margarine batter.
Add flour and start kneading with your hands. The dough will be soft.

  Make small balls and arrange them in a pan lined with parchment paper.
With the back of a fork press each ball gently.

Preheat oven to 200C and bake the cookies for 10-15 minutes.
