Pomegranate cheese ball

  • 150gr cream cheese
  • 100gr mascarpone
  • 50gr cheddar, grated
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 2-3 fresh basil leaves, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • fresh ground black pepper
  • 2 pomegranates
  • 1 baguette or crackers for serving

In a bowl, combine all ingredients except pomegranates and bread.
Mold the cheese mixture into a ball and roll it with plastic wrap.
Place it in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Add the pomegranate arils to a plate and roll gently the cheese ball through them, pressing them to stick on the ball.
Serve on baquette slices or crackers.
