ingredients
- 500gr pasta
- 5 Tbsp olive oil
- 5 cloves of garlic minced
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp thyme
- 2 Tbsp fresh basil chopped
- 1/2 tsp chilly pepper flakes
- 1 Tbsp smoked paprika
- salt
- pepper
- 1kg small shrimps without shells
- 250gr mushrooms sliced
- 250ml cream
- 250ml evaporated skim milk
- 1 cup parmesan grated
- 1 1/2 cup mozzarella shredded
instructions
Boil pasta according to package directions and drain.
In a bowl mix olive oil, garlic, oregano, thyme, basil, pepper flakes, paprika, salt and pepper.
Heat a wok or a large skillet and add olive oil with spices.
Add shrimps and cook for a few minutes just to change colour.
Remove the shrimps from wok and add sliced mushrooms. Cook until become soft.
Add shrimps, cream, milk, cheeses.
Bring to a boil, stir until cheese melts and add pasta.
Mix well and serve!
As i wrote in my previous post, i served pasta with bruschetta with ricotta and roasted cherry tomatoes, asparagus wrapped in bacon and oven fried chicken.
Finally, for dessert... a refreshing, orange flavored Mahallebi from Kitchen Stories .
