Lollipop Chicken Wings with Hoisin Sauce and Ginger


  • 1500gr lollipop chicken wings
  • 15Tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 piece ginger 2-3cm finely chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp hot chilly sauce
  • 2 Tbsp soya sauce
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • fresh coriander or parsley finely chopped


Place chicken wings in a bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients, except coriander, mix and let chicken marinate all night in the refridgerator.

Preheat oven to 200C.
Arrange chicken wings in a pan lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 15-20 minutes.
Sprinkle with fresh coriander and serve!

While we were waiting for the chicken...we tried a Spicy Salami Dip from the blog Food for thought. Very tasty!!!
